An example to the world – Shohei Otani san & Culture Club

14.08.2023

This summer vacation was my third consecutive year visiting the United States.

Texas, famous for its Gulf Coast, is home to many petrochemical plants and many of the same refractory anchor companies as ours, but we decided to forget about them for at least a short vacation. (hahaha)

The purpose was twofold.
One is to see the iconic 80’s UK band, Culture Club, live.
The other is to see Showtime for the first time in two years, since the 2021 season! The other was to see Shohei Ohtani, who plays for the Angels of Major League Baseball.
I am happy to have successfully accomplished both objectives.

For those of you who are over 50 years old, do you miss it? (hahaha)
I was surprised at the changed appearance of Boy George, the vocalist of the Culture Club, but the way he is still touring the U.S. after 40 years as an original member, although one member left the group, is something similar to Namitakiko, which has been in business for more than 50 years? (hahaha) (Overstatement⁉)

I watched the game for two days and was lucky enough to see the No. 41 home run right in front of me!

Shohei Otani san went to the United States in the off-season of 2017.
Namitaakiko started overseas sales around 2016, shortly before that.
Otani san has reached the top of Major League Baseball = the top of the world in the past 6 years.
However, Namitakiko is not at the top of the world, although we are trying our best to go overseas……what’s the difference? (´;ω;`).
If I continue this story, I will not be able to write it in the space of this blog😅.

People and companies need to evolve with the times and with the environment, without getting hung up on what has been done before.
If we do what we need to do, the results will naturally follow.
It was a trip that made me think.

I would like to spread my wings not only to the world but also to outer space.
