What is vegan? 🐄🐖🐓🐑🐟

08.02.2022

In recent years, the term “vegan” has been spreading in Japan in the wake of the SDGs.
I, too, have adopted a vegan lifestyle for two days a week, not consuming animal products (eggs, dairy products, honey, etc.) in addition to animals (cows, pigs, chickens, lambs, etc.).

The quality of vegan food these days is high enough to please the eye and palate, both visually and taste-wise, with beautiful cakes that look like glasswork (and are gluten-free!?!). There are also many ✨

My interest in vegan cooking has been piqued, and the other day I learned how to cook vegan food.
The most delicious dish was “Sweet and Sour Pork”! It’s made with soy instead of meat, but it’s so much better than our original sweet-and-sour pork that I had to have three more servings 😋.

Research has revealed that in addition to animal cruelty and health hazards, eating animals has various other negative effects, such as greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and poor working conditions.
How about incorporating veganism, which is good for animals, the environment, and your body, into your life in a fun and tasty way?
