Does your company have a code of conduct?<\/p>\n

\u201dLet’s do what we should do, not what we want to do.\u201d
\nThis is one of Namitakiko’s Codes of Conduct.<\/p>\n

Namitakiko’s Code of Conduct has 10 items, and I am participating in a project called “Let’s spread the Code of Conduct and Corporate Philosophy throughout the company! \u2728<\/p>\n

Recently, when I read a book, it talked about the items of “what we want to do and what we should do”.
\nI was just thinking about how to exude a code of conduct, so I thought, “Ah! I read it more carefully than the other sections.
\n(I am sure that I would have read it quickly if I had read it before.\ud83d\ude10<\/p>\n

It said that “what we want to do” is a mixture of desires that have nothing to do with the goal, such as the pleasures in front of us, and “what we should do” is what we need to do in order to grow toward the goal.
\nHe said that it is not easy to reach the goal if we only do the momentary pleasures of the present moment.<\/p>\n

I think this is true not only in our work, but also in our personal lives.
\nI want to play, I want clothes, etc., but I want to live my life doing what I need to do to become the person I want to be in the future, rather than what is enjoyable at this moment.\ud83d\ude4b<\/p>\n
